Joshua-Being Evacuated

"Joshua,Joshua! Come over here! Hurry!" Screeched Mum. "Coming!" I replied with my mouth stuffed with cereal. I found Mum in the living room looked as if the world had come to an end. "Joshua. I have to tell you." "Tell me what?" I asked anxiously. "England is at war with Germany." "What?" I snapped. I choked on my cereal  that nearly made me sick. It was astonishing. Mum spent nearly the whole of yesterday explaining to me how life was in World War I. Eventually I calmed down. However, there was a huge bang on the door. "Ahhhhhhhh!!! It's the Germans! They've bombed the house!" "Relax Joshua. It's just the....Priminister! Mr Priminister sir!" "Mrs, your children is in big trouble. They might get injured. It is unsafe here in London." He exclaimed. At that exact moment, my Dad came back from work loooking miserable. "It is true. Joshua, you have to be evacuated immediately." Dad sobbed. I packed my stuff up miserably.

My Mum and Dad slowly drove my sister and I to the train station and sadly said goodbye as my sister and I left to be evacuated. My Mum,Dad,sister and I were so miserable that we cried for ten straight minutes. At least I was entertained by playing with the playing cards I got with my sister (Rachel). When the humongous, old train finally left it made a sound so loud it sounded like an earthquake. later, it smelt as if someone pooed next to me. Even worse, when I tried to get up, I got pulled back down by the things I was carrying.

After an hour or two, I was woken up by the terrifing sound of the train horn. My sister was so horrified, I think she pasted out. However, she eventually got up and so did I. After the train drove away, the billiting officer picked us up and silently walked us to the new town we would be living in.

Cityville!"What a silly name!" I giggled to my sister. "I'm bored."Rachel mumbled.(My sister)After 3 hours of walking,my sister and I were the only ones left. The town was beutiful with loads of sunflower springs, the sun was shining everyday of the year. That was just like the personality of the people who lived there. At the end of the town, there was a huge house where we were planning to stay. When I knocked on the door,a nice young lady who was about 17 opened the door. "Oh! Hello! You must be the two children we will take care of." After I met her mum, we got on for the next few years.

THE END
