Ding, dong, ding, dong, the churchbells rang. As everyone was gathering in the church, like a pack of sardines. When everybody was seated the mayor turned on the radio.
"And now your word with the primeminister".
"Hello my fello citizens, we have very deppresing news, our county is in war with Germany and thank you for listening".
Everybody was looking at each other. The evacuationmanager grouped all the children after 3 long, dull weeks of packing up when the last boy william beetch was left and went to a man and he was deppressed.
