     Chapter 1

   Charlotte

“Charlotte”

Miss. Fufu shouted Charlotte sighed and pulled the covers over her head. Ever since her mother had abandoned her at the age of three she had been stuck in this disgusting, horrible, gross, stinky orphanage with ten other children where she was to dress in rags and work for the terrible owner ,Miss. Fufu “Charlotte”  Miss.fufu shouted again. So Charlotte ran down stairs as fast as her legs could carry her.

She knew she was in trouble.

    Chapter2       

 Work!

Miss .Fufu was standing right at the bottom of the stairs “where have you been” She cried pointing a sausage like finger at Charlotte.

Miss.fufu was a short lady and very round she could kill you with her horrid grin because she had lost 16 of her teeth and had had 13 fillings and then there was her hair which looked like a birds nest  and when she moved her head it wobbled like jelly. She wore a great big dress (that was far too small for her) with great big silver buttons all the way down.

Charlotte rolled her eyes this happens every morning, “Charlotte get to work I need you to” She pulled out a great big, long piece of paper which she unfolded and read out “scrub the toilet with a toothbrush, polish the floor with a pencil rubber ..................”Miss.fufu went on

Charlotte felt sick after doing all that work, she felt like punching Miss .Fufu in the face. Then she heard something, the doorbell was ringing, she checked her clock, half past 10 who could be ringing at this time of night.

Chapter 3

Land owner

Charlotte got of her bed and sneaked downstairs and down again and down again and down again (there are 4 floors) suddenly she tripped on a can of diet coke and fell to the ground with a thud she prayed that the visitor and Miss.Fufu didn’t hear her as she fell she waited the visitor had stopped talking. She waited eagerly; the visitor was looking for the cause of the noise Charlotte ducked as the visitor looked her way, had he seen her she stayed low.
